The view of Manhattan through Brooklyn bridge

Two cold January days in New York

New York is probably something most people think of very often and many had visited it at least once in their life time. The beauty of visiting New York is that no matter how many times you go, it always seems you’ve never been there before. To my experience, Paris is the other city bringing such feelings..

Here is the short statement from Wikipedia: New York City comprises 5 boroughs sitting where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. At its core is Manhattan, a densely−populated borough that’s among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers. Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building and sprawling Central Park. Broadway theater is staged in neon-lit Times Square.

World Trade Observatory

One World Trade Center is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and the sixth−tallest in the world. The total height of new WTC reaches 541 meters, or 1,776 feet, a tribute to 1776, the year of U.S. independence. Taking heed of every structural and safety failure of the Twin Towers, developers carefully designed the new tower to be the safest office building in the world.
