Visiting Cancun every year in December for us results in different memories. Although, gorgeous azure water and white sand beach does not change a lot by years passing, our experiences are quite different. This year we stayed in Riu Palace las America located on the beach of Cancun. The hotel offers the best facilities so guests can enjoy an endless array of services. At hotel, there are 3 pools, one of which has a swim up bar and hydromassage area, the Renova spa with a gym and sauna.
An early morning beach walk while sunrise is slowly showing up on horizon, became a tradition for some of us. That is something that cannot be missed before breakfast.
And then, after the breakfast it’s just a few steps to the beach leaving behind only foot imprints in white sand while looking for the best post and beach chairs.
Can you imagine better start of your day, with beach towels across shoulders and a choice of your morning coffee in your hand, while your eyes are glued to the turquoise azure water? And then... slowly make your first steps to feel the warmness of the water and get ready perhaps, for your first swim. If you are not inspired for swimming, then just put you sun glasses on and your favorite cocktail, and just relax your morning talk in the water. You do not need to do anything, just be present “Aqui y Ahora”

When sun falls behind the hotel building leaving a big shadow over the beach or perhaps, if a wind makes the stay less enjoyable, we pack up a few things and walk towards the other beach spot as there is no limit for that. Of course, as long as we do not try to use other hotels’ beach chairs.
This year’s traditional Christmas photo shoot took place at the beach of another hotel, that had just a perfect ambience including a sand creation of a snowman.
We finish a day with a formal dinner, and everyone dresses their best. Another photo shoot takes place at the lobby in front of the big Christmas tree.
